Dr. Mohammed bin Hatim Al Balushi’s academic journey began at Sohar University, where he studied from 2003 to 2008. This period laid a solid foundation for his scientific future, shaping his knowledge and helping him build a well-rounded personality. Dr. Mohammed thrived in a stimulating educational environment under the supervision of distinguished academics, which inspired him to acquire valuable knowledge and forge friendships that impacted both his academic and social life.
Pursuing International Education
After completing his studies at Sohar University, Dr. Mohammed sought to broaden his international academic horizons by enrolling at the University of Bedfordshire in the United Kingdom in 2010 to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Within one year, he successfully completed his studies, adding an international dimension to his educational experience and enhancing his leadership and managerial skills in a diverse academic environment.
Doctoral Studies and Research
In 2016, a new opportunity arose through a scholarship provided by his employer, the Royal Court Affairs, which enabled Dr. Mohammed to pursue a PhD in Strategic Planning in Malaysia — a significant step toward academic specialization and professional excellence.
After five years of intensive research, Dr. Mohammed successfully completed his doctoral program in 2021. He returned to Oman proudly holding the title of “Doctor,” equipped with advanced strategic expertise and a vision for impactful application in his field.
Professional Achievements
Today, Dr. Mohammed holds a distinguished position as the Assistant Director General of Studies and Research at the Royal Court Affairs in Muscat, where he applies his academic knowledge and practical experience in strategic planning to support institutional development and innovation.
